User names/passwords dropped

After a recent software update on my iPad mini, the ability to save the user name and password on about eight sites was lost. I have to log on every time I go to those sites. The user name and password remain valid for less than 15 minutes. JavaScript is enabled and I've tried all different combinations of Block Cookies, Do Not Track and clear history. Help!

Hi, welcome to iPF!

In Settings - Safari - Passwords & Autofill you can enable Names and Passwords. This should help "remembering" the information.

Enabled Passwords & Autofill...Saved Passwords indicates the correct info, but does not trigger remembering

Is Safari set to Private Browsing? You'll recognize that if it looks like this:




Disable it by opening a new tab and tapping "Private" (bottom left).
