Unable to download IOS 7.1

I'm not able to download iOS 7.1( It only displays "checking for update") .My iPad mini(original) is jailbroken and I want to download it with OTA, Is there any problem with jailbreak? If yes, do I have to restore my iPad or I can update it using iTunes?

It will take some time to come up. At least that was the case for me.

I just updated mine....without a hitch.....some may have trouble due to so many trying to do it at the same time.

But with this one, as they have a JB iPad, they won't be able to do it OTA, only through iTunes.
