Unable To Connect To Internet

Hello from a new user, bought Ipad 4 yesterday but can get no further than page 3 in the setup mode - have entered the code for Wifi connection but Ipad won't accept it (panel doesn't light up so maybe not enough numbers/letters entered? Very frustrating, contacted internet provider and advised it would cost $100 to look at the problem???? Anyone got any ideas?

I think there has to be minimum 8 characters in the password. Try resetting it. It might work.

Can you tell us who your provider is and what router you are using?

Thanx for the replies, after giving on Bigpond as the girl couldn't help I re-entered one of the codes on the back of the modem and it worked, once again thanx to those that replied
