I All.
Recently purchased my first IPAD and I love it !!

My question to you all is around use of Bluetooth.

I own a Samsung S2 and no matter how I try, it will not pair with my IPAD.

When prompted, it gives me a numerical code but when I go to connect, it tells me that it's not compatible and then cuts me off.

Now the S2 is a new phone so I thought there shouldn't be any issues but this has me beaten.

Has anybody else had a similar problem and if so, how did they overcome it.

Thanks in advance
Keith

You likely need to turn off wifi on both the ipad and the phone. This is what I have to do to get my iPad to pair with my 4S.

it seems that the ipad supports only few types of bluetooth devices. if you have an apple device it should work fine

Firstly why are you trying to pair the iPad and iPhone ?

Are you trying to get Internet from your phone for the iPad ?

If you are you need to tether not connect with Bluetooth

The iPad is a pain to pair with most phones, if your trying to answer pics your gonna struggle .. There is an app to do this called Bluetooth photoshare

I tried to connect Bluetooth gps to iPad it wouldn't unless I jail broke it so I ended up with 4g to use gps

I don't know why apple are such a pain when it comes to Bluetooth wish they would change

I paired my phone and iPad so I could control a presentation from my phone while a projector was connected to the iPad. Worked great.
