TuneUp - What is it? How do I get rid of it?

When I run iTunes some kind of addon, called TuneUp, appears to the right of iTunes. It's very intrusive and it won't go away.

Is it useful? How do you get rid of it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

It is a program that you can down load from the net unsure how it got there

It has to be down loaded to install!!!!
You can uninstall it. What it dies is clean up iTunes get rid duplicates and sort covers. It may be a trial version as I think one pays for it. I had on my MacBook but got rid of it as I did not like how it sorted stuff hope that helps

I don't know how it got installed, I don't think that I installed it, and it's very annoying.

On Windows computer I assume that it's just a matter of going to Add/Remove Programs right?

Hi guys. Tiffany from TuneUp here. Sorry to hear you would like to uninstall.

For Mac users, the Mac uninstaller is located here:

Home Folder > Library > Application Support > TuneUp_Support > TuneUp_Uninstaller

Click "Ok" and then enter your system password when prompted.

You will be notified when TuneUp has been successfully uninstalled.

For PC users, please manually uninstall TuneUp from the Windows Control Panel.
