I'm a knitter and I have several patterns that I've scanned into my PC. I would like to get them onto the iPad so I can knit without carrying the pattern book. How can I do this?

The best read only app is iBooks. Just get it from iTunes & then save your pages together as a PDF file. Once you import it thru iTunes you will be able to flip thru the pages.
