Transfering from iPad to iTunes

Hello.

I purchased an album from iTunes directly from the iPad application. I would like to transfer the album across to iTunes on the PC but once a connect and attempt to sync a message is displayed showing 'all information shall be deleted on the iPad' or something similar.

If is sync, would this album be deleted and the album is nowhere to be seen within the PC iTunes app?
