Is there a way to take pictures that are taken using the Photos app off of the iPad onto a PC as jpg images?

You're best bet is to email yourself and open up your email on the computer.

Saves you the hassle of having to sync up and what not.

Sent from my iPad using iPF

Thanks, but when I email a picture taken on my iPad, the picture is pasted into the email and is not attached as a jpg file that can be saved. Am I missing something?

This is actually very easy on a PC.
Its just another drive in the windows file system.

Heres how to do it:

1) Plug the iPad into your PC, you do NOT need to synch it.
2) Find the "computer" icon on your desktop, open it
3) From there, find the name of your iPad's icon, open it
4) From there drill down to internal storage > DCIM
5) You will then see your JPG pictures, copy and paste to your computer

Also, you can do this with ANY digital camera, they all store
photos in there own DCIM folder.

Enjoy!

this is what i wanted to say, but some need to figure stuff out, although they might never think it was possible, cause they might have thought it was iTunes only method,.... but i would've added this in a day or two.

choose between mac or pc....Copying personal photos and videos from iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer
mac is more simple.
