TrackPad will not pair

I have paired a keyboard but I cannot get the Trackpad to pair with my IPad 2. I am new to this.

With respect to your question, Apple's Magic Trackpad does not work with the iPad...the iPad does not have a cursor. You could consider the entire surface of the iPad a giant trackpad of sorts though.

Ummm, Rich, the trackpad will work with the iPad...sort of. Won't do the swipes, but can function, only you have to be jailbroke and have the BTStack Mouse DL'd from Cydia. Have used it several times. The Apple wireless mouse works perfect.

I thought I read about a mouse you can get for these, is that only if you hacked it?

If by hacked you mean jail breaking the device, the answer is yes.
