I'm not getting it, sounds wonderful, but I need remedial instructions for installing it on iPad. I think I can figure it out for the laptop.

For installing the Page Zipper bookmarklet - if I may be so bold, please see my sticky over in the FAQ section (its even got Skitches! :)). The link is here: http://www.ipadforums.net/showthread.php?t=72353

Hope that helps.

1. Press that link which will bring up the page where you will see some script in a box. Press on this script to bring up the Select options, Select All then Copy.
2. Press the arrow thingy up the top left of the URL line to add a bookmark. Select the Bookmarks Bar and Save
3. Press the Bookmarks tab (open book tab) press Edit and then select the bookmark you've just made for the zipper.
4. Press the first line which has the name for the Bookmark, this will bring up the X to delete the line, just type in Zipper. This just shortens the name.
Press the second line to bring up the X to delete the URL. Press on this line again which will bring up the Paste option, press Paste and the script you copied before will be inserted here.
5. You will now see Zipper on your Bookmarks Bar above your Tabs.

I hope I have included all the steps here, let me know how you go.

Also found a very helpful and cool app called PDF Note Taker at www feiphone (dot) com !

If you are using a PC rather than a Mac, you can get the photo out of the iPad device by emailing it to yourself then downloading the photo from your PC. The Email function is provided under the Export button when you view a photo.

Say your orientation is not locked, you may find that the iPad may not change to Portrait mode or Landscape mode when you rotate it slowly. When this happens, simply tilt the top of the iPad toward you to get the screen properly aligned.

Hi. I have to say as a new user to the Ipad and apple, I think this site is great. But in some cases it tells you what you have found. How do I find your "tip and Trick"?

I've discovered a trick that's new to me. When you try to get to the bottom of a page and it seems stuck, use 2 fingers to make it continue moving up.

A new trick for me and I didn't know this until I searched for it is if you accidentally closed a tab just hold down the + button and you'll see at least 5 tabs you recently closed. Just select the tab you want restored and walla your tab has been restored.

Why thank you. I didn't know that! You learn something everyday.
