To get back to normal screen just touch the top screen (I hardly ever use the home button now that touch does almost everything.)

I'm being lazy and supplying advice that works for the iPhone too. The four finger swipe up the screen opens the multitask bar too on the iPad.

Sent from my iPhone using iPF

Speaking of NEW. I hope this is not a stupid question but "Can you use the ipad to record music"? If I find a music sourse and I like the music that the station is playing, can I record the music that is coming out of my sound card? If I can do it, what do I need.
I thank all for reading and any sugg that I may get

In general, no you can't as far as I am aware however there are some radio apps that let you record the current broadcast.

TuneIn Radio lets you record streaming broadcasts; but you are limited to listening to them in the app. No exporting.

Here's another tip for you all to try. For those who don't know already. If you save a webpage that you use a lot as a bookmark in safari, save it to bookmarks bar (under bookmarks tab) this will place a permanent link to the top of the safari page.

Better yet you can save a web page link to your home screen.
Press the export - the box with an arrow - and choose Add To Home Screen.
This places the link on you home screen/Desktop so it will take you to your favorite web page in one click
