1. Due to the recent site upgrade, the iPadForums (iPF) App will no longer work. The new iPadForums.net website has been designed from the ground up to work perfectly from any mobile, tablet, or desktop computer using the built in internet browser. This is why Jailbreaking the iPad 2 took so long. Hats off to comex!

Great read. For those of us that couldn't understand why it took so long, check the article out. To me (and 99.999% of the rest of us) this looks like gibberish. Comex is a stud considering he figured this stuff out.

No one should ever complain about how long a jailbreak is taking, especially considering what is in the article explaining what comex did to get this userland one out there. No wonder it took so long...

If it wasn't for the idiot who leaked the file, comex wouldve saved the exploit for ios 5. Instead he had to release it early, and now apple patched it. In the process of patching it, apple also patched the exploit that has been used since ios 4.3 for the other idevices.
