I scored mine from a local big box store in December 64 gig verizon for $580. I actually took a 4 back that I had just purchased and kept the three. The three has the old 30 pin connector and you can find a ton of accessories on Clarence. There is little if any noticeable difference between the two. And I play some pretty intense flight and driving games. I suspect as mentioned above that the updates will keep coming for some time.
