i am thinking about becoming an ios developer and i was wondering.

1. can i be able to run unsigned or be able to sign my own apps to run on my ipad if i register my udid with apple?

2. can i be a beta tester for someone else's app if someone gives me their app to test?

update: i may not be needing the jailbreak or the dev kit because of some financial problems i maybe returning the ipad and accessories i got at walmart for refund (very last resort)

update 2: ipad erased and disconnected and ready to box up to return (pending change of mind)

update: 12/27/2011 i am now keeping my ipad since i just registered my udid for 1 year of provisioning.
