The Daily

Was wondering if anyone uses The Daily app. Is it worth paying the subscription cost? Do you find that the news they cover could easier be found using another app that is free? How about the user interface.. do you like it?

I use it and like it. I paid up the $40. I somehow doubt it will survive, though. They have excellent photographs, many of which you won't find in other places. Once in a while, something will seem a little odd in how it works and it does crash. Still, since you are mainly reading, I still enjoy it. I open it before leaving home (to get the content downloaded) and then read it when I stop for coffee.

I shouldn't say this (I'll get demoted again ) but the iPad Forum Search facility isn't that good. I tend to use Google and postfix my search with iPadForum - so, for example, "The Daily ipadforum" brought up several hits
