Target, the second-largest discount retailer in the United States, will be having some trade-in deals for the purchase of an iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina Display and also for the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 5s. Customers who will trade-in a iPad 2 or a newer version are said to get at least $150 toward the purchase of a new iPad. The program starts this Sunday, and will run through next Saturday, March 15.
Target customers can bundle that up with a $30 Target gift card, which means they can get at least $180 off a brand new iPad. The better your old iPad is, the more money you will get. However, the deal isn’t available online, being available only inside Target’s physical stores. Obviously, this is made in order to assess correctly the condition of your old iPad and to prevent fraud.
The big retailer is also running a similar deal on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. The iPhone trade-in program also starts on 9 March and is available until March 22. For the iPhone deal, you don’t need to trade-in a used iPhone, as any working cellphone will do. Besides this, you will also get an extra $50 off as a Target gift card. The iPhone deals are only valid with the Verizon, Sprint and AT&T carriers.
