Hello World,:)
Yes I am struggling with just about everything, even forgetting to record my password for this site.
I have been using Microsoft most of the last 40yrs and finally I have succumbed to Apple, I love the iPad, it's great to explore something new at my time of life (76). I am finding email filing impossible, even though I have changed from pop3 to imap. I suppose I must keep reading the forums!
I have found my wireless connection will not give me enough time to load the extra pages when doing the 'homework' for new members.
Well as usual I have gone on too long, see you on the forums.
Betty

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

I saw your email filing issue and that you've changed to IMAP. However, you must then use webmail to establish the desired folder structure on your remote email server. Then the iPad will mirror the folder structure it sees on the remote server. Even with IMAP you can't *locally* create or delete email folders. This must be done on the remote email server.

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Please read the rules too!!
