When plugging my iPad 2 into my Mac yesterday, I got a message saying that is could not be synced due to an internal error. So I backed up and attempted a reset. All seemed to go well until I got to the restore. I chose the correct restore setting and it seemed ok until I got the message that the iPad would reappear in iTunes after it had restarted. But it didn't restart. The only way I could get it to turn on was using the start and home buttons together. Then after plugging back into the mac it reappeared but straight away asked if I wanted to restore as new or existing. I have gone through this several times with the same result. Is it going to be an Apple Shop visit, or is there an easy solution?
