Syncing Problems

    My Ipad is normally synced with my Laptop, however, recently and by mistake my wife tried to
    sync with her computer when she tried to download an epub book. Now when I try and sync using my laptop I have problems
    How can I resolve this problem and are there detailed steps I can follow when I do it.

    Hi, Clake!, welcome to iPF!

    Can you describe your problems a bit more? Is your iPad not recognized by the computer you usually use, or is there something different happening?

    For a start: make sure that iTunes on your computer is up to date.
    If you have more than one USB port on the computer, change to a different one.
    Maybe you need to charge the iPad battery before it will be recognized.

    You could also try the basic troubleshooting steps:

    Restart your iPad: turn it off, wait for a few minutes and turn it on again.
    Reset it. This won't remove data or settings. Press and hold Home and Power button until the Apple logo appears. Release both and let the iPad power up on it's own.

    If this doesn't help, please give more information about your problem.
