Synching 20 iPad cart to 1 iTunes account on Macbook

Just received 20 iPads and synch cart with MacBook and trying to deploy for students. I set up one school iTunes account and have a volume discount voucher. When I synch/setup the iPads on the MacBook, it lets me name and synch each iPad but when I put my iTunes account in, it rejects it.
Can't I synch the 20 iPads to one iTunes acount on one Macbook, so the students are always looking at the same environment Apps/music/pics, etc?

I agree this is an educational problem, but it might get a better response in the Help section, so I've copied it over there with a redirect so, effectively, it appears in both locations for a while.
