Synch no longer works after latest iTunes update

    When I attach my iPad (both new Air 2 and old one I get the message: upload_2015-12-7_7-49-52.png

    I did all of that successfully, downloaded a new itunes64 and installed, now when I try to open the programme I get the message "The file itunes Library.itl cannot be opened because it was created by a newer version of itunes." The programme does not open.

    I got rid of the .itl file and it seems to have created a new one. Itunes opens now, but cannot find my library.
