Can we sync iPad and iPhone on the same laptop??

Yes, that will not be a problem at all. You can sync both in the same PC and same iTunes account as well.

Sure, I have my iPad2 & iPod Touch sync to iTunes on a laptop - just be careful 'how' you want each device to sync, i.e. I want certain apps, photos, music on one device & not the other - good luck!
