Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

No, syncing the iPad to iTunes, especially with anything other than apps, is primarily a one-way move - from iTunes to the iPad. I believe there is software out there to do what you want, but the good ones are usually paid for.

And, always remember that iTunes, when you sync, always wants to make the iPad match iTunes. So, it will always try to delete any songs on the iPad that are not on the iPad. IOW, it's a good idea to never delete songs and such off iTunes unless you never want them again.

The rule in iTunes is, if there's a check beside a song, it will put it on the iDevice, or stay on the iDevice if it's already there, if you un-check the box, it will not be put on the iDevice, or if it already on the iDevice it will be deleted from the iDevice. And yes, it syncs from iTunes to the iDevice always. You can delete anything you want on the iDevice and the next time you sync, it will be replaced on the iDevice.

Thank you. Thought as much but was hoping there was a way around it as easier to work on iPad. Much appreciated.
