Swipe type hd for ipad

Recently downloaded this app and was excited because I have using a similar product on my android phone for over a year. The reviews were good but it just doesn't work! The only way to get it to type the words is to swipe really slowly and wait for it to recognise the letters. Has anybody else had similar experiences with this app? Btw: there doesn't seem to be any app support for this app either. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

First of all welcome to the Forum!

I have no knowledge of the app you're talking about but when an app does behave strangely it is best to close it completely and then relaunch it. From your home screen or any screen for that matter do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar along the bottom. It will show all the apps that you have opened at one time or another. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly, I do mine every night. Check and see if it is operating now.
It's a good idea to have a look at the availability of support for apps before you purchase them but that being said if an app doesn't do what it claims to do you can always ask Apple for a refund. Just make sure you keep your transaction number to refer back to. Let us know how you go.
