strange pixels on screen

These lines appeared on my ipad 1 and I have no idea why. I haven't dropped it or damaged it in any way. I've restarted and reset my ipad, and they're still there no matter which way I turn my ipad. I have no clue what to do. Help please!

Something physical (read: hardware related) has happened to your iPad. If I may suggest, make an appointment with the folks at your nearest Apple Store and have them take a look at it - cause that ain't normal!

Hopefully, they'll be able to sort you out.
