Storing my pictures and videos on new iPad4

I just bought my first iPad a 4th Gen I was told. I would like to put my jpg pictures on it also some home videos. Any help you can offer this new to the iPad world?

Setup all the pictures you desire on your iPad in a folder on your computer.....
Then in iTunes select this folder to synch with your iPad.
Connect your iPad to your computer with iTunes running and tell it to synch......your set to go.

btw - You were told it was an iPad 4? You didn't know what you were buying?
Geez, looks like my thread concerning iPad 4 & iPad 3 retailers would of come in handy.........
