Is there many types of forums here?
How do I know 'when posting a question' that I'm in the right forum?
I post this while don't know where will it go?
How do I contact with a moderator to ask him anything?

I love my iPad2, but can no longer add PDFs, so I welcome any advice and/or direction to a more appropriate location, if this. Location is not quite right for me. Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

We will need some more info on how you were adding these to your iPad - email, Dropbox? And what is happening now, are you getting any reports? And where were you storing these PDFs?

PDFs I made in Pages. But couldn't get these docs into iBooks (works perfectly on my iPhone 3GS). I'm storing the docs on the phone in iBooks, on my laptop, in the Kindle app, and in Fileapp. So the docs aren't gone. They're still in Pages on my iPad. If you need to know more, please let me know.

--Some of the PDFs I sent to myself in email, so they are still there (and in the cloud, I guess [though haven't checked]).

Not any that are legal. And we don't promote illegal music stealing sites here. So no help is forthcoming likely.

Try these 3 steps in this order

When an app behaves strangely it is best to close it completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly

Press and hold the power off button, the one at the top right. You will see a slide appear to power off, slide this and the screen will go dark and a Whirly will appear. When the Whirly disappears your iPad is now off. Press the power button again until the Apple logo appears, this will take a few seconds and your iPad will restart. You should restart your iPad occasionally also as it will keep it running well. Now see if it is operating.

Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start.

Try these steps and see if this fixes the problem and let us know.
