Square Enix Knocks 50% off Secret of Mana Price

Square Enix is currently in the middle of a massive summer sale, which is well worth checking out as its games are usually some of the pricier offerings on the App Store (and also some of the best, hence the pricing).

Starting from today, it’s the turn of the classic RPG, Secret of Mana, which Square is currently offering for a whopping 50% off, from now until Sunday, August 10. This means that you can currently get the game for just $3.99, as opposed to the usual $8.99.

Play as Randi and his two companions, Primm and Popoi, as they battle the empire in a bid to thwart its quest to control the power of Mana, aided by the eight elementals who wield the forces of nature.

Secret of Mana was originally released in Japan in 1993; at the time its innovative real-time battle system and beautiful gaming environment was hailed as groundbreaking, and it is still a classic to this day, especially if you’re a fan of old-school top-down RPGs, and hearken back to those simpler times!
