Sprint has today launched its Sprint TV for iPhone app, which enables Sprint customers to watch free live TV and video-on-demand on their iPhone. The app is powered by MobiTV, and features free live news and sports, as well as shows from the likes of ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, The Disney Channel, MTV, Comedy Central and many more. In addition to the free programming, the Sprint TV App also gives you access to over 40 paid premium packages featuring such popular shows as SpongeBob Squarepants and The DailyShow with John Stewart. This extra content will set you back $9.99 per month for Sprint TV Xtra. Spanish language programming such as Telemundo costs $7.99 per month in the Sprint TV en Vivo package, whereas children’s programming such as Sesame Street on Playground TV will cost users $4.99 per month. The app is available to download for free for Sprint customers on unlimited data plans. [/FONT]
