Anyone have suggestions for a good spreadsheet app? Don't need anything over the top great just enough todo to basic functions.

Thanks

One of our members carried out a survey of Office apps for his company; you can see his conclusions in this thread...

The Apple iWorks Office suite for the iPad has a set of useful Help pages that show their capabilities here...

Pages is Word compatible and can read .doc and .docx files and save in .doc and .pdf

Keynote is PowerPoint compatible and can read .ppt and .pptx files and save in .ppt and .pdf

Numbers is Excel compatible and can read .xls and .xlsx files and save in .xls and .pdf

Is there ANY way to use an Excel spreadsheet with macro buttons on the iPad? My company has a mandatory file like that and when I try to even access from iPad it craps out :( is there a workaround? Not only do I want to view the file, I also need to update it using the macro buttons in the spreadsheet because it updates our backend databases..... But I don't want to boot up a windows pc just for that (boo).

Any ideas, iPad fans??

Office files in iPad are meant to be for viewing and only minor editing.

Still now none of the iPad office apps are fully compatible witn Microsoft Office desktop.

Macros etc. are considered advanced functions. Don't think any iPad office app provides support for that yet.

I would pay $50 for an iPad app that provides Excel macro advanced functions. No more Windows OS please. Cant get rid of these spreadsheets with macros, but if I can access them and at least VIEW them then I would be happy.

any ideas Apple Ninjas?
