How do I remove a split screen when I use FaceTime?

How do I remove a split screen when I use FaceTime?

G'day Nael. If you turn your iPad into portrait view, you can tap on the message to clear out the drop-down part of the screen. (And bring it back by tapping top left again) But in landscape view you are faced with the iPad's default screen, and will have to learn to love that split screen arrangement

Thank you, but my problem is with FaceTime and I think you are referring to Messages, the screen is split between the live image and the 'contacts' list or 'favorites' or 'recents' list. No messages are present! I don't know how I got to this position and don't know how to get back to the full screen?

This list should disappear as soon as you've chosen/tapped one of your contacts.

Sorry, I don't know exactly, because I don't use Facetime. I suppose it will be that way.
