Hello all! I am in need of some help finding the right iPad app. We have a deaf lady at our church. I attend a very small church so it is not in our budget to hire an interpreter. Does anyone know of an app that could take what is being said by the preacher and turn it into text for her to read on the iPad? Thanks for any suggestions!

Not insurmountable, Presumably, you're asking about live, on the fly transcription? First you'll need a microphone at the preacher, and a connection to the iPad, Bluetooth, or wired, then a wireless connection to the Internet, so the iPad can send the sound file for processing.

More, the text needs to be confirmed and occasionally corrected. Perhaps hearing aids are the solution.
