Sorting photos

I think that the only way to sort photos or to be able to put them in folders is by buying an app.

Am I correct? Can someone tell me a good app to buy.

You can sort photos into folders within a folder on your desktop and then sync that folder with your iPad using the native photos app. There are some other apps ...my favorite is PhotoMgr Pro
