Sonniemay - nu-b! Microsoft office and iPad ??? Can I load easily

Hi!
I've been getting along quite well with my IPad, lots of apps downloaded but I am always learning and want to be able to utilise documents more so am hoping I can get lots of advice from forum members....you may well see me here quite often

I really want to work on my iPad with office documents and PowerPoint etc...any pointers how to download etc?

Welcome to the forum, and I hope to see you around here in future!
The CloudOn app might be for you, if you have the possibility to edit your documents being continuous online on a stable connection. Additionally (due to the fact that I need to work offline during flights etc.) I use QuickofficePro HD. Actually there are hundreds of Office-compatible apps out there - try the lite versions out, as all of them have specific advantages, others may not have - if you need to work offline, that is.
Finally, as I am trying to go full iPad, I decided to switch to the Apple's Office-Stuff (keynote/numbers/pages) though compatibility with MS Office is not the very best, however as I do share my work in form of PDF only it is OK for me...
