SongSheet is an app that helps you write, rehearse and perform your songs.

Despite the fact that there already existed a number of related apps on the App Store, we felt that none of them made the process of editing a song as easy as it should be, and that managing a library was also unnecessarily complex.

As such, we have focused on two main things. The first is the song editor itself, which allows you to enter chords into your song as easy as tapping a button, as well as drag/drop for precisely placing chords, rearranging lines and whole stanzas. Transposing a song or setting a capo is as easy as a couple of taps on the screen. Secondly, we wanted set list management as easy and intuitive as possible, so working on your library is done in a full-screen view, rather than in a popover.

Here's a brief introduction to the app:

Besides this, we offer easy theming support built-in, to be able to switch between light and dark themes (e.g. for on-stage use), as well as the ability to create your own theme and share it with other SongSheet users.

You can easily print out your chord charts via AirPrint or create/email PDFs.

For performing live, you can use backing tracks, as well as program in verse changes and have the current verse automatically highlight on your screen and, if you have an external screen present (either via cable or AirPlay) then the highlighted verse will be displayed on the other screen automatically.

There's a lot more that the app can do than I can cover in a brief outline here. More info on the app store.

As always, I would love to hear from users and/or potential users about what they'd like to see in the app moving into the future (we are actively working on a 2.0 release).
