"Apple has denied reports that claim Steve Jobs tried to carry Ninja 'throwing stars' in his luggage.
According to a report published by ABC News, Apple has claimed that the story published by a Japanese magazine is a work of fiction.
"Steve did visit Japan this summer for a vacation in Kyoto, but the incidents described at the airport are pure fiction. Steve had a great time and hopes to visit Japan again soon," said Steve Dowling, spokesperson for Apple.
The company has dismissed report published by Bloomberg, quoting a Japanese magazine SPA!, saying that Apple's CEO was stopped from boarding his private jet at Kansai International Airport, near Osaka, because he was carrying several Ninja throwing stars or Shuriken, in his luggage.
The report also states that Jobs told airport authorities that he will not visit the country again when he was not allowed to carry the weapons on the plane, arguing that it was unlikely that he would hijack his own plane.
