This is a detailed review for a beautiful luxury leather case for the iPad 3. Its called "Leinwand case" from Spigen SGP. I got the Vintage Brown colour because i think its the best one. ($3 extra for this colour).
This is what i received.
As soon as i picked this case up, i noticed how beautiful it looks and how premium it feels. There is a reason for that. This case is handcrafted from genuine leather, not the cheap one that Chinese people sell on Ebay. The feel of this case is unbelievable. I have had this case for a couple of days and the more you touch it, the more pretty it gets. That because of the oil in our hands, they give the case that "vintage look to it". I took as many pictures as i could to show you the beauty of this case.
As far as the fuctionality of this case, i have to report that i am extremely happy. My iPad sits very well in the case and all of the buttons are easy to press. I feel confident that my iPad is very secure in this case.
The ports of this case are perfectly lined up. The charger port is accessible both for charger and Apples camera kit. Plus, the headphone jack and the speaker of the case have precised cut outs as well. By the way, i really like the mesh grille for the speaker. It protects the speaker very well and the sound hasnt got any disrtotion.
The only downside of this case is that the sleep/wake fuction isnt as reliable as the Apples smart cover, but personally i dont care.
So, final words. This case protects the iPad's front and back, it gives you easy access to buttons, ports and speaker and most important, it looks and feels spectacular.
Pros:
1. Looks gorgeous 2. Feels amazing 3. Perfect cut outs for all ports and speaker 4. Anti-grip feel thanks to the premium leather.
Cons:
1. Pricey for some people 2. Sleep/wake function not reliable as the Apple smart cover.
