Okay, the odds are pretty good that it's Barrel that's causing your iPad to look funny when you rotate it.

I always had problems with Barrel in that, after a while, the effects would look cool in one view (e.g. portrait), but they'd be all messed up when I rotated the iPad. What was happening to me sounds a lot like what is happening to you.

So, try uninstalling Barrel and see if that fixes your problem.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Marilyn

Hey thanks it was barrel, so what I can't have that tweak anymore? D:

Well, I don't run it because it messes up when you rotate. If you want to keep it, I'd suggest never rotating your device. Actually, come to think of it, there was one setting that seemed to work best. Of course, darned if I can remember. I think it was called Flip or something like that; it was the only one that didn't cause my iPad to get all hinky. If someone can provide a list of the effects, I can figure out which one it was. You can try them all to see if any, eventually, remain stable.

I liked Barrel, as I can tell you do also. But, it just wasn't working for me. So, long answer a bit longer: Go ahead and put Barrel back on ... but, down deep, it's an iPhone tweak and iPhones just don't rotate on the home screen (stock). The developer never had to worry about rotating. So, IMNSHO, it's just never going to work right on the iPad.

YMMV.
