Screen Freeze (Hang)

Dear friends, my iPad3 quite frequently have screen freeze (system hang). I have to do a hard reset each time it happens. Is it linked to my upgrade to iOS7? Or any other reasons? What is your advice to avoid this problem? Thank you.

If this only happens when you use a specific app, force close it: double tap the home button to show the multitask bar. Swipe pictures (thumbnails) above the app icons towards the top pf the screen.

If resetting doesn't help, or if you think iOS 7 is the reason for this, backup and restore your device through iTunes (computer):
