I am new to the iPad and I would like to download an app for magazines and/or newspapers, but noticed there are several to choose from. I would like to be safe and download the best. If anyone could give me some input on there experience I would greatly appreciate.

I like and use Zinio. Prices are good and they have magazines from all over the world. I have not used any other magazine app, so I don't have anything to compare it with.

Actually, I've found Zinio's prices to be quite high for electronic copies. For example, PC Gamer, you can order online for $19.99 for 12 issues. Zinio, however, 13 issues is going to run you $39.99. I don't think that the periodical market is ready for electronic distribution yet.

Ebooks, on the other hand, I've found to be quite competitive as opposed to paper books.

    My opinion though.

Zinio also but they are not cheap

I have not tried any other sources and, while I read some e-books, I have decided that I personally prefer to hold a magazine.
