Whenever I load a website containing significant graphics (on line newspaper for example), the screen periodically gets glaucoma---films over for a while. This occurs for quite some time, is irratating, and undoubtedly is ruining whatever of my eyesight is left!

Does anyone else have this problem? Can I do anything about it?

    Thanks.

Not sure if maybe it's attempting to locate Flash for the graphics.

Sounds like a good guess! Can I turn off Flash someway? Since Apple is antiFlash, I would think they would insist that Safari be bulletproof against it---?
