Retreiving my lost songs

Hi,

I accidently lost the original list of about 800 songs from tje 80's that came with my Ipad whe i was synching songs from my Itunes list. I clicked on erase and synch and my songs that were iny Ipad are gone.Is there any way I can get back this orinal list of songs that came with my Ipad?

No. Presumably, you bought it used and are now using it on your own AppleID. The songs were associated with the ID of the original user and should not, in any case, be available to you, as iTunes purchases are not transferable.

I hope you didn't buy the iPad based on the value of the songs that were already on it?

I'll develop this idea a bit more fully.

I have several thousand songs on my computer. I have ripped them from CDs that I bought, and the rips are for my own use. I could very easily buy a used iDevice, and transfer songs to it from my library, and then sell the device for a profit.

This would be stealing. I have bought the right to use the songs myself. I have not bought the right to resell copies of them to other people.

I think this is a good time to point out this piece of copyright information, and also to point out that iPF does not condone, or support, thieves or pirates. This is not to suggest that you have done anything wrong, but the person who made those songs available to you almost certainly has.
