Hey guys!

I'm currently on 7.0.4. I want to do a factory restore on it. Since it is jail-broken I can't do it through settings. I've tried upgrading it to 7.1.2 and 8.1.2 by using TinyUmbrella v7.1.2 . But it gets stuck on "Preparing iPad for Restore".

How can I factory reset my device or upgrade it to a version which is currently jailbreak-able?

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

You have to restore your iPad through iTunes on your computer.

The restore will upgrade your iPad to iOS 8.2, which is not currently jail breakable. There is no way to upgrade to anything but the latest iOS version as that is the only version Apple is currently signing.
