In short yes. Create an event in iCal and then choose to send an alert. If you use google or a Mac you can have the alert sent as a text or email or both.

Sent from my iPhone/iPad using iPF

No simple resend.

If you don't mind them knowing it's a repeat, just go to your Sent folder, select the email and forward it.

If you want a neater solution, then after you open the old email, tap and hold until you see copy, drag the handles until you've selected everything you want, then copy. Open a new email and tap and hold to paste it into the body, address, subject, send.

To get to your Sent folder, tap the button at the top left of the mail list until you see all your inboxes and accounts listed. Select the account, then the Sent folder. Be sure to go back and select your inbox again later if you want to see your incoming mail, though if you only have one account the inbox under the account list will work just as well as the Inbox at the top.

@davidalan99, the Calendar alert will only let you send reminders to yourself at your default email address.

Hello I would like to thank you for the simple answer. Don't know how I would have done it with out you. You're GREATTTT! Would you mind if I called on your expertise in the future? My children get frustrated answering my questions about my iPad. Thanx again

Glad to be of help.

Lots of very helpful people in this forum. Just post your question in the appropriate area. If I don't see it, someone else is bound to. To save time, you should try a search first. There's a good chance the question has been answered before.

Here are some good links for general tips and tricks. Who knows, if you stick around you could be the one answering your children's questions. ;)
