Ok, so I am getting my new IPAD 2 next week. It is will be used primarily for Cisco related training and programming Cisco Switches and Routers.

Found the Redpark Cisco Console cable for sale and just wondered if anyone has used this yet?

    Thanks

We make the app - so this maybe somewhat biased :)

It works great for Cisco, Juniper, HP, Alcatel-Lucent, Fortinet, NetApp, Allied Telesis and a few other network / appliance vendors that weve tested it with so far. Other people have got it working with Elevator control systems, airplane broadband control terminals and some people are using it for interfacing with home-automation stuff - we dont however support its use on equipment we haven't tested it with.

Learn more at www get-console com - Redpark also now make a new cable C2-DB9 - this doesnt work with Get Console app at the moment, only the C2-RJ45 cable so please make sure you get the right one.

    Cheers
