Recorded DVD from laptop to iPad?

Hi guys. I'm a noob iPad owner and have a question. Can I save a recorded DVD (NCAA Football) to my Dell Studio laptop, then transfer it to my iPad? And if so could someone give me some in depth instructions on how to accomplish this. thanks in advance.

The answer is probably 'yes', depending upon the format that you recording it to on your latptop. Most Members use the free software package 'Handbrake' to convert a DVD to a format that they can watch on their iPad because it has a setting specifically for the iPad. You'll find several threads and posts in the Forum devoted to this package with detailed instructions on how to use it.
