The all-in-one document reader, ReaddleDocs for iPad, has just been updated today to include two-way sync sync with Dropbox, iDisk and other cloud storage systems. Printing via AirPrint and background file transfers on iPads that have been updated to iOS 4.2 is also included in the update, and the newly updated PDF viewer allows the user to choose between horizontal and vertical page scrolling.
With ReaddleDocs 1.7, you can now sync any folder on Dropbox, iDisk or Readdle Storage with a local folder on your iPad. With just one tap, you can two-way sync an entire folder to the Dropbox or any WebDAV storage. This should make updating annotated PDF files on the cloud faster than it’s ever been.
For iPads running iOS 4.2, ReaddleDocs now provides AirPrint support and background file transfers, meaning that users can print files directly to any AirPrint enabled printer. File transfers to and from the online will also continue in the background when the user switches to another app.
"ReaddleDocs has been used for reading anything from magazines to technical documents", says Alex Tyagulsky, Readdle CMO. "We are excited to add Dropbox and iDisk sync to this release, making the easiest way to keep PDFs updated while you add notes and highlights on the go."
