Why can't I download games like sims 3 or even smurf town

Can you give us some more info on what is happening when you try to download these games, do you get a message at all?
Are you connected to wifi? There is a limit on the size of an app you are able to download with 3G.

Hi there, not using wireless only 3G message says "your request cannot be completed". Do I need wireless connection?
Even if I search for the app in the app store it doesnt come up have to actually google it. Does my iOS need to be upgraded?I have it's 5.1.1?

Not every app is available in every country. It's possible that the games you want to download are not available in your country. The fact that you can't find the apps in iTunes is a good indication of that.
Also,as Leelai mentioned,there is a limit on the size of an app that can be downloaded over 3G.I believe the size limit is 20mb.

You could try contacting Apple and asking if the games you mentioned are available to South Africa.

Apparently you can't buy games from the iTunes store in South Africa.

It's wired you say that cause I already have downloaded games from there, stick cricket, izombie, and real steel which I needed wireless for the last game...I will see if I can get hold of our technical support here

This message means that this app is not available from your App store. And yes you would need wifi to download games of this size. It also has nothing to do with your OS and you are on the latest version.

Scifan has pointed out some very relevant threads for you. I live in Australia and there are many apps that I can not download also. There is a way around this, you can open another iTunes account for a different region. You will need another email address and as gmail does not denote a region, I would recommend this type of email account. There are many different app stores around the world and the US app store I would say offers the greatest range of apps. But you will need an iTunes gift card to open one here. These are readily available on the net and as you only need the number on it, this can be emailed to you after purchase. There are some who will say that no form of credit is needed but I haven't found this to be so, but have a look and see for yourself. You will also need an address here, do you have a friends address you can use? Others have just looked up an apple store address for this. I will include a link here for you to look at.

Once you do open another account, whenever updates are available you will need to sign out of and into the pertinent account for the update and this is very simple. I hope this helps you.
