Hi, I have uploaded Pictures from my iPad to my dropbox file. Dropbox has transfered the Pictures twice... I don't know why: As you can see here on attached Screen shot, the Problem should be obvous: in the "mini view" there is the correct Picture. But when opening it, there Comes the wrong Picture (the double one). What can I do? I have deleted the Pictures on my iPad already because I have trusted on the "Service of Dropbox" - obviously this was a big mistake! Please, can someone help me out?? Thanks!!

Hi, welcome to iPF from an Austrian member!

I've never seen problems like yours before. Usually, the app is reliable.
Did you use "Kamera Upload" to transfer the photos to the app?

Grüß Gott :)

No, I haven't used the automatical kamera upload. I have uploaded them manually. And in the "small view" the pictures were available, so I trusted on it an deleted them on my iPad.... ;-(

Any ideas someone? I really don't want to miss the pictures!!!

Thanks!!!!

You can recover files deleted within the last 30 days in Dropbox on the website, not the app. There's a "Show deleted files" button, and then you can restore them.

I'm afraid that I won't be successful with it, since they are not deleted from Dropbox, they were only deleted on iPad. Dropbox shows the pictures in a wrong way, but "physically" they are there..?

Did you backup your iPad before you deleted the pictures? Do you use Photo Stream?

No - I didn't used the WLAN Photo Stream and also it was not backed up... Unfortunately... next time I will be wiser... But originally I did the Pictures with iPhone (also here no WLAN Photo Stream and no Backup...) , put it on the Photostream manually, transfered it with my iPad from the Photo Stream to the Camera Roll of iPad, transfered it from Camera of iPad to Dropbox, and deleted them everywhere, except on Dropbox of course :-( Maybe it was also already a Problem on iClour Photo stream between iPhone and iPad... I have no idea...?

If you also deleted them on the iPhone, I have no idea how to retrieve them. Sorry!

Maybe it's really a Problem of Photo Stream between iPhone and iPad. Not from Dropbox. Does anyone has ideas or had the same or simiar Problem with Photo Stream?

So I should formulate my question differently: can I recover pictures which have ever been on my photo stream but now are deleted?
