You will need to give more information to get help: what account is used for your calendar, which problems do you have/what's happening? When and where?
Is it already set up?
I suppose you own an iPad Air with iOS 7 installed.

If you have not done so, get the iPad User Guide for iOS 7. It's available for free in the iBook store in the iBooks app, also free. It has about four pages of info on the Calendar app; a good starting place.
